Sometimes are small events that change peoples lives. If these events are combined with an amazigly strong passion for music then everything becomes a lot clearer. Gill emerges in 2005 after a his first appereance in a well known local club called Ambasada Gavioli, Isola-Slovenia. He starts focusing his performances and his music on a progressive house style, but highlights the fact that his musical choices are not at all strict, but bohemien and very malleable to various kinds of electronic music. Gill was influenced by the big house names around the globe, and also being lucky to have the possibility to travel quite a lot and experience real electronic music that in some areas is hard to find. People started to recognize Gill?s name mostly in the local scene.In the meantime, the public relations business starts and after 3 years of hard work, the organisation of small events for Different Grooves begin.

After some time the whole project works well localy but also internationally, boasting good engagements with Austria and Slovenia. This is when the Different Grooves agency started, having a hard time at the beginning, but after those first hard steps, has got itself a good name.?100% electronic music addicted? is not a label, but the only slogan that can be attached to Gill. Written in english since boudaries and language limitations in the music business does not exist, as it is all one big musical country. Gill is sometimes seen as an innovator and other times he is seen as a traditionalist, but the truth is he is always evolving to another level. He manipolates the sound of vocal house, progressive, break beat, funky, techno, electro and minmal sounds. In January 2007 Different Grooves On Air project arise, radio format web based.

Gill is A&R of it. Program hosts world famous djs and month by month become meeting point and listening point for clubbers and insiders all over the world, as usual thanks to powerfully of digital world and world wide web. The only things that devide Gill from the international music scene is his own productions. This has been a fixed thought in his mind, but has not been able to complete this task yet. One thing at a time, as fondamental steps that bring a person to become and artist are in order, and they have to be followed so. This last step is getting closer to Gill?s cv, and has a good opportunity to bring his talent throughout the globe!

Musician since the age of 10, he's now one of the most important artists in Milan's underground dance scene. During the last ten years he has been deejaying, producing and engineering music while showing patience, passion, creativity and technical skills. His personal musical sensibility easily brought him through styles that range from punk, indie rock, jazz, fusion, black music, hip hop, electronica, drum and bass, house and techno.
His vision of club music is an evolution of the seventies funk mixed with house and techno roots, based on deep kicks, rumbling sub frequencies basslines, sharp beats and groovy percussions, refined with a creative and fresh use of the effects and the musical elements generated by synths or sampled from old records.

The first release as producer appeared in the year 2000 as he was studying Sound Engineering, and while for the first 7 years of studio productions his attention was more focused on the technical developement of the music, since 2006 Luca turned his attention to the artistic and creative side, working on few different projects like Prospettive Sotterranee (released on Safari Electronique) and Anomaline (relesed on Anomaline Records) showing off his style of grooves.
After meeting his german musical partner Andre Crom the duo developed an unique and fresh housy sound with catchy musical elements, releasing several eps together on Heimatmelodie, Acker, Andre's own Off Recordings (that quickly became a leading label in its genere) and the Uk underground cult-label Freerange.
Actually he's involved in collaborations with friends Patrick Di Stefano, B.Converso, Milly de Mori, The Electricalz and several solo projects.

As a dj he's been resident in the season 2010/2011 at "A.Lab@Amnesia Milano", "Indipendent@The Club" and "Privat: Dancing In The Dark", but in the past he has been playing around Milan's both mainstream (The Flame@Amnesia Milano, Queen@Gasoilne, Physical@LeJardin) and alternative booths (Input@Leoncavallo, R!Evolution909@PergolaTribe, Trak@Bitte, Trak@Tunnel, Privat Parties), also rocking parties in Berlin (Weekend Club, Club Der Visionaere, Wilde Renate, Arena Badeshif, Tacheles, Mikz) and Space Ibiza. In the forthcoming season 2011/2012 he'll be regular guest once/twice every month in Amnesia Milano (main room) on saturday and "Back@Queen" on friday.
Monthly hosted by Guida Nella Giungla (every thursday on Radio Poplare Fm Network) with a selection of favourite underground house and techno newest tunes.
Recent releases avaible on Flash, Off, Freerange, Highgrade Digital and Soundselective; forthcoming tracks also on Amnesia Milano's own record label.

Luigi Madonna was born in 1985 and yet in 1996 starts his passion for the world of house music . Therefore two turntables, a mixer, headphones, first house records and a huge passion lead him to play in first clubs still very young . It's actually 1999 when he gets started at Impero II club . After just two years , 2001,electronic sounds influences lead Luigi Madonna to experiment new sounds . Innovation and experimentation provide him with a pass to many of the Campania's clubs booths obtaining a good success .

2004 is the year of musical turning point, infact Luigi moves his own first steps with musical productions , goal: minimal techno. The field is wide and the musical interest is oriented towards every kind of sound . Old river club represents for Luigi Madonna the official debut in one of the "sacred places" of techno music. There he manges to enrich his experience by playing with Joseph Capriati, Par Grindvik, Dominik Eulberg, Argy, Ben Sims and many others .

In 2008 his first release ,The most meaningful project arrives in 2009 on the famous Rino Cerrone's record label, "Loose records", "Madonna e.p.".is released , actually showing a dynamic passion towards music and a endless research for new sounds , Luigi Madonna is carrying on a collaboration project with the labels "Analytic Trail" , "MKT", "Material".

For a long time, Slovenia is known for its great electronic parties, but as the local scene is of boutique dimensions, everyone, who wishes to take the art of mixing and producing to a professional level, has to go out there and enter the worldwide scene. Umek has done this step as early as in the middle of the 90s and so he became one of the most important techno players of the global techno scene, even before the end of the last millennium. Together with people, who shared the same views, he successfully captured the first era of researching and recreating the rules of the dance music in Recycled Loops, Consumer Recreation and Astrodisco platforms, which all put the sound of the Slovenian techno on the world map of electronic music. In the beginning of the year 2007, he started a new 1605 Music Therapy - Sixteenofive, with which he marked the beginning of the second era of his music creation.

Through the 1605 Therapy, Umek successfully spreads a mixture of brute alternative sounds on one hand and anthems for the biggest venues of the world on the other. The first group is formed of records such as Ricochet Effect, Another Matter Entirely and Utopia, while the second group includes famous Posing As Me and Carbon Occasions, the two records, which broke the club borders and conquered radio waves, with the accompanying videos played also on MTV. Cooperation with record labels such as Renaissance, Little Mountain, Ultra, Pacha, Armada, constant presence on dozens of radio stations all over the world, Essential Mix, appearances on Primavera, Monegros and Dance Valley festivals, appearances on numerous compilations and constant support of many colleagues such as Sander Kleinenberg, Fergie, Tiesto, Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, John Digweed, M.I.K.E. and Carl Cox confirm that the 1605 Therapy is already showing first results. In the beginning of this year, the 1605 Therapy also began a journey in the form of a record label. Thelaunch of the record label was announced on the second day of the >>The Day Of Electronica<< in May, while producer VoRr with his premier release of Outlaws / Project 1.333 successfully prepared the ground for the re-release of the classic Gatex, which came back in the form of a new remix by Fergie. Awarded the 'Best Break Through Producer of 2010' award by Pete Tong, Englands Tom Flynn is renowned as one of House musics most respected forward thinking producers. An International DJ, Producer, Engineer and Remixer, Tom has regularly graced the worlds biggest dance floors as well as gaining an army of support along the way. His DJ sets range through the whole spectrum of house, from deep to techno, which also reflects itself in his productions and remixes.

Having released on labels such as VIVa, Dirtybird, BreakNewSoil, Strictly Rhythm etc, it's not hard to see why Tom has gained praise and recognition from the cream of the worlds best DJ's.
His music can regularly be heard on Pete Tongs Essential Selection show on BBC Radio 1, picking up 'Essential New Tune' awards for songs like 'Bianca', as well as in the record boxes of Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Booka Shade, Yousef, Claude Vonstroke and Loco Dice.

Coming from a very musical background, there was only one way Tom was going to go once House music had been discovered at the early age of 12. From playing piano to studying music at college, Tom has been hard at work in and out of the studio ever since, and not just in dance music.

Nigerian-born Nicole Moudaber developed a love for dark drums and fierce percussion at an early age. Growing up in Nigeria & Lebanon she was the first person to bring dance music to the Middle East back in 1996 before moving to London to run Southeast Recordings and the long 5 year running Soundworx night at Turnmills. ?I fell in love with house music in NY back in 1989, hearing Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia? says Nicole. ?Since then I?ve traveled the world chasing the best parties, from Paris to Madrid, Amsterdam, NY, LA, London, Ibiza and beyond.?

Stepping behind the decks and into the studio was a natural progression for one so dedicated to the cause, and success has swiftly followed. Recently name-checked by Carl Cox as the Most Underrated DJ of 2009, Nicole regularly returns to Beirut and Jordan to play, as well as having strong fan bases in London, Paris and Ibiza. Says the man like Carl "I've been following her career for the last three years - her productions and DJing. She's amazing.? Well who are we to argue?

Taster Peter is a new producer and DJ born in Genova and raised in Livorno, Italy. Being raised in a musical family, in his early days he was a student of 'Mascagni Music Institute' (a fully respected italian music institute) where he played the violin and later on changed to guitar and double bass. After years he decided to start with the drums. His drummer carrer started at 16 and for 10 years he was the drummer of "Taster's Choice": Getting deeper into this music, Peter developed an interest in techno and house and started to produce music at 16 with his first fruity loops software for the first breaks // house // techno tunes.

here are not many dj..s of this type. dj..s who believed in techno from the first minute, dj..s who experienced techno from the very beginning, dj..s who made techno their own thing. dj..s who found their own style, even more, who developped it over the years, dj..s who..s name is the expression for a specific sound.
alex bau is one of them. but at the same time, there are some slight differences with this guy. why focussing on just one style of music? why only minimal sounds? why only techno? why? if cou can have both... is it related to the fact that there has been a time before techno for alex bau? thousands of records in his collection, different styles, different music, for sure something that leaves its marks, no doubt about it. still he is doing depeche mode- nights from time to time, just for fun, and his activities on techno doesn..t really suffer from that, not at all! with his 5 or even more hours sets at his first resident club in his southeastbavarian homearea, the ?libella?, where for example also dj hell started his career back in the 80ies, he achieved the reputation as somebody who is totally aware of what he is doing, totally dedicated to it and also totally loving it.

he had his own radioshow for over 2 years on a local radiostation, still so far the only technoshow in this area, but after countless gigs at the local clubs time was right to proof that he is also able to play at other places all around. especially the productions together with his friend sven dedek, mainly released under their moniker ?basic implant? or ?electric envoy? on labels like the at this time starting ?fine audio recordings? from chris liebing have hit the technofloors in a very impressive way, so that he was able to collect also international experiences behind the decks while sven was playing live. releases like the ?phase edit ep?, a highly acclaimed and well sold rework of some nitzer ebb ebm classics, or their work for dave angel..s "rotation", justin berkovi..s "predicaments" or pascal feos.. "pv-records" enabled the guys to reach a much bigger audience. finally, after numerous releases for different labels beside his own label ?toneman?, alex released his debut-album ?connected? in late 2004, which immediately draw the attention of many high class dj..s like chris liebing, pascal feos or good groove to name just a few. the fact that these artists, all standing for a different kind of style, grabbed the tracks from ?connected? constantly shows that the name of the album couldn..t have been chosen in a better way.

with starting his own label ?toneman? back in 2000 alex bau also started to his soloproductions for labels like chris liebing..s ?clr? or the montreal based label "default recordings". montreal can be understood as a kind of scale of alex.. dj-activities too! within 3 years he has been booked to montreal four times, his set from the legendary night at ?aria? from january 2006 was even released as a mix-cd ?live at aria / montreal? so that alex came back months later to perform on the releaseparty, once again a night to remember for the montreal technomovement. at this time alex was already booked as the headliner, and its reported by numerous mails and guestbook- entries that it was not a mistake to do so. maybe also as a small, unconscious ?thank you?, but mainly due to a very inspirational night he spent in halifax, where he flew over to canada for just one night, he declared an ep as the ?c.a.n.a.d.a. ep?, which was released on clr in late 2007 and received overwhelming feedback from all over the globe. people desrcibed the tracks ?summer in moncton? and ?halifax funk? as masterpieces of contemporary technomusic which seperates positively from the rest, mainly dominated by minimal clicks and cuts.

but it..s not only montreal, where alex is being booked again and again, there are also other places, which obviously is a sign that he seems to be a guy who understands what to do when standing in front of people and trying to bring the party to the max. clubs like frankfurt..s "u60311", where, among other dates, he was part of the closing night of chris liebing..s legendary partyseries ?es ist freitagaaabend?, munich..s "electric delicate", wurzburg..s "airport", or the legendary "tresor" in berlin are not only the trademarks of german technoclubculture, they can also be found on alex bau..s giglist. japan, braszil, usa, canada, poland, croatia, serbia, holland or the closer austria and switzerland are some of the tourstops on alex.. calender, and no matter where, all over the places people can hear and feel how interesting, versatile and powerful techno can be if you understand to combine minimal and straight techno as a constant up and down. always everything under control while the party is going wild, that..s what alex is always going for.

that..s also something what the crowd seemed to have experienced, so that alex was voted among the 20 best national dj..s on the poll from germany..s leading dancemagazine, raveline, in 2006. after a short intermezzo as an official artist on the highly acclaimed label ?zenit?, that has been the platform for acts like marco carola, adam beyer, the advent, gaetano parisio and many more, he now puts the focus back again on an own platform after releasing his album ?credo? as a sublabel from zenit, which is now ?continued? as his personal artist label with already highly acclaimed releases like ?my bleepy helloween? or ?bullet in your heart?, minimal tunes go together with peaktime slammers in a way that appears obvious and logic. this fact and the music on ?credo? attracts a lot of leading colleagues of alex like chris liebing, dubfire, adam beyer, stephan bodzin or also charles siegling aka technasia, who invited alex to join the worldfamous sino- label by end of 2008 for releases and also bookingwise. the feedback on alex.. music is growing constantly, he turns out to be one the few real technoproducers in 2008 and his decision to focus on only a few, but very powerful and strong releases on labels like clr, sino or credo speaks for itself. techno can do a lot, if you let it do so. that..s the credo. his credo.

Having been in the business for 15 years, DJ Onirika has been setting new standards in the Italian music scene. She can be undoubtedly considered the most important and the most talented female DJ in the country. Her career started during ?90 when she began to take part to rave parties which took place between Trieste, her native Italian city and Slovenia. Since her very first steps, she showed great musical taste, impressive technique and a nice style. Her fame grew fast, and even faster when she decided to move to Rimini in 1998. She quickly became resident DJ in the most famous venues in town, such as Classic (well known for its afterhours parties), Ecu, Echoes and Peter Pan. Onirika has recently entered the world of music production: her first record, "I Can't Stand", produced with DotDj, was released on LDU Records/9rec is still getting great feedback and rotation by some of the most famous electronic dance music DJs around the world. She?s working at Discopiu DJ Shop in Rimini, the most important in the country, and she's demonstrating for Roland Italy, for Groove Gears equipments. In 2000 and in 2001 she has been the only female DJ to have run for Bybloscar, Italian award given to nightlife representatives. The colleagues that she most appreciates and that have decidedly influenced and contributed to her professional training, have also become her great friends: Stefano Greppi and Andrea Doria, people that she respects for their great professionalism and musical quality.

2004 was also the year of the "Club Revolution" Compilation (reprinted in 2006), which she mixed alongside the upcoming Italian talent Jonny20. This compilation was innovative as the first Italian progressive-house compilation, getting enthusiastic reviews on magazines such as Live, 365mag.com, Soundrevolt.com and Disc-Jockey.it. She also produced and mixed the first Italian digital compilation: Land Digital Under sold on EDM Digital Records. On November 2005 has been released "Lost In Tokyo", with her own vocals and a powerful remix produced with Andrea Doria for Freddy Mayers aka Fedex's single.

Onirika is really a true D.J., with a technique and a musical selection that countersign her for a long time. In Italy she's the only female DJ to propose alternative house music at the maximum levels. Her DJ sets have been and are broadcasted on national and international networks and web radio: among these M20 Italy, Magma Web/FM Project Italy, Proton Radio, Di.Fm, Pure.Fm e MercurySession US, Afterhours/Doble Nueve e Lima Live Sessions (PERU), Dance Latino America (ARGENTINA), Ensonic.FM e Meerestief Radio, (GERMANY), Freshradio, DanceRadio e BestRadio (GREECE), Top Fm (YUGOSLAVIA) and many others.
From the 15th of September 2006 she started a brand new show on Proton Radio called Galileo and at the beginning of 2007 another one on KSK Radio in Buenos Aires with other 3 top female DJs: High Gloss Girls Radio Show with her, RoMix from Argentina, Chloe Harris from US and Anna Maria X from Greece.

Onirika is the founder and creator with Massimo Nero of Disc-Jockey.It; today the webzine/portal counts more than 4 million visits/month and 10000 registered users.
She?s also owner of LDU Records, the digital label that has gained lots of success all over the world in a very short time: many of its releases have reached top charts, like Balance Promote and Release Promo, have been inserted into Sasha?s Instant Live Avalon LA, Marc Romboy and Tommy Sunshine?s Systematic Sessions and Sandra Collins? Perfecto Presents Part 2 compilations, and reviewed by the top dj magazines like IDJ and DjMag.

Sometimes are small events that change peoples lives. If these events are combined with an amazigly strong passion for music then everything becomes a lot clearer. Gill emerges in 2004 after a his first performance in a well known local club called the Ambasada Gavioli, Isola Slovenia. He starts focusing his performances and his music on a progressive house style, but highlights the fact that his musical choices are not at all strict, but bohemien and very malleable to various kinds of electronic music.
Gill was influenced by the big house names around the globe, and also being lucky to have the possibility to travel quite a lot and experience real electronic music that in some areas is hard to find. People started to recognize Gills name mostly in the local scene. In the meantime, the public relations business starts and after 3 years of hard work, the organisation of small events for Different Grooves begin. After some time the whole project works well localy but also internationally, boasting good engagements with Austria and Slovenia. This is when the Different Grooves agency started, having a hard time at the beginning, but after those first hard steps, has got itself a good name.
"100% electronic music addicted" is not a label, but the only slogan that can be attached to Gill. Written in english since boudaries and language limitations in the music business does not exist, as it is all one big musical country. Gill is sometimes seen as an innovator and other times he is seen as a traditionalist, but the truth is he is always evolving to another level. He manipolates the sound of vocal house, progressive, break beat, funky, techno, electro and minimal sounds, but has a strong bond with this last one mentioned. This slice of electronic music gives birth to Dotliner aka Gill, a new project that focuses on a must of minimal sound. The only thing that divides Gill from the international music scene is his own productions. This has been a fixed thought in his mind, but has not been able to complete this task yet. One thing at a time, as fundamental steps that bring a person to become and artist are in order, and they have to be followed so. This last step is getting closer to Gills cv, and has a good opportunity to bring his talent throughout the globe!

Involved in the scene since the early nineties Antonio began playing in the Naples underground electronic circuit with probably one of the first electronic city crews ever such as the infamous "space race". Over those years he teamed up with "loose club" (which gave name to rino cerrone?s own imprint "loose records"), a very relevant event organization in Italy during the nineties second half, playing alongside djs such as Jeff Mills, The Advent, Rino Cerrone, Gaetano Parisio and Uto Karem just to name a few.

After then ?loose club? moved to Amsterdam while Antonio remained in Naples moving and teaming up predominantly with "International Talent", one of Italy's most respected crews. To this day he is currently the resident dj playing in the best city clubs such as Old River and Golden Gate, pushing Naples electronic scene boundaries. He?s Currently touring with the International Talent brand event "Play the Music" alongside the most highly regarded international djs.
During the years he has gained big respect from the crowds as well as his dj colleagues hence putting him in the forefront of the electronic music circuit.

A skillful dj, whose music style is influenced by various aspects including Chicago house, Detroit techno, pure electro and both classic and modern European electronic music. These aspects have attributed to his large and vast musical background and combining this with his skills he has become a highly considered and appraised dj. In 2005 and again in 2010 Antonio toured to Sydney Australia where he was guest at various prominent venues including Tank Nightclub, Lady Lux, Bondi Swiss Grand, The Bunker and Bondi Pavillion. He most recently was invited as guest mix at Dave Clarke?s ?white noise? radio show and he?s currently working on new projects.

Frank Martiniq is an international DJ, producer and sound design pioneer. His unique vision of electronic dance music, combined with his talent, dynamism and experimental projects have acted as a springboard, propelling him to the forefront of house and techno global club scenes.

It all started in 1991, Germany, Frank Martiniq devoted his life to analogue instruments and electronic music. It?s got to be said that any DJ who turns up to play with 30 kilos of vinyl in tow is serious and Frank Martiniq wouldn?t ever consider packing any less. His no-nonsense DJ sets encompass everything from Chicago house to dub techno and venture through prime Detroit cuts.

This massive spectrum of sound is needed to build his ideal four hour DJ set which begins at the opening slot and builds elegantly right through to a massive 4/4 prime time. And if you ever get the chance to see one of his ultra rare live sets, drop everything and go, he cracks out the most alien analogue machines you will ever see but only for the most exciting parties. These dance floor shaking sensibilities have seen him take to the Technics of the biggest clubs in Bejing, Berlin, London and Detroit.

In the studio Frank creates with both with hardware and software. He?s canny about his production methods and he has a reason to be, since his first release in 1995 he?s been on to an unmistakeably good thing. This is the man whose 12? ?Adriano? on Boxer Recordings sold out in just two days, and who went on to release a dozen 12? and three double LP albums on the imprint. This huge body of work built up production skills that are, to put it lightly, enviable. So much so, that the legendary Native Instruments recruited him as a sound designer for Reaktor 4, Reaktor 5, Massive and Maschine.

Frank Martiniq has always been a reference point in international electronic music whether based in Kiel or Cologne, but 2009 saw him make the logical move to Berlin. He relocated to the capital and was commissioned to work on a prestigious, experimental sound design project for the Max-Planck Institute. Frank was challenged to create sounds that envisioned 20 years from now and he single handedly designed soundscapes from the sizzling of synapses to the droning of digitalisation. The futuristic project entitled ?The Science Express? toured through 60 towns to international critical acclaim. As for his own future, Frank is constantly reconfiguring his sound, getting ever more creative: releasing his deep techno direction on Stroboscopic Artefacts, playing shows internationally and is busy in the studio working on visionary sounds for his fifth studio album.

Dubbed an ?elegant dark lord of the dance floor? by XLR8R Magazine, Alland Byallo is a DJ, producer, label owner, graphic designer and event organizer ? a tour de force within the club and underground music scenes.

Born in Los Angeles, Alland began his musical journey at a young age. Trying his hand at piano and trumpet as a young boy and influenced by the experimental electronic sounds of the early 90s, Alland grew captivated with the world of dance music, began experimenting with basic production and eventually bought his first pair of turntables. While working at WAX Records, LA?s now defunct authority on dance music, Alland?s tastes matured, and a move to San Francisco in 2003 saw Alland?s star rise quickly; while in SF, Alland honed his talents DJ-ing at respected venues stateside and overseas, started his own an underground dance music label named Nightlight Music and launched one of California?s most inspired techno-focused nightclub events, the monthly [KONTROL].

Born and raised in Germany's former communist east (Gera), Dana Ruh has a success story to look up to. As a DJ, she's been keeping it locked since 1994. Having a "real" job seemed like the thing to do in those early days, so she gave it a shot, scored the Economics Diploma and went to work as a Stock Trader. That didn't exactly work out - too little was the excitement about the numbers, to large the gravitation of Berlin and it's electronic music scene.

Within a couple years from the move, she evolved from house to techno, from beginner to impressive in her productions, and from underground & private parties to playing internationally regularly.

Dana Ruh now runs her own label Brouqade, and successfully releases on both underground anchors like Barraca, Einmaleins, and Perspetiv but also with some of the biggest labels in techno, be it on Cocoon or with Andre Galuzzi on Ostgut Ton. What's more, she's starting a new label with him, ARAS, with a monthly night at Panoramabar.

Italian producer an DJ Santos astounds year after year with his diverse and consistently inspiring productions, showing that if you?ve got the raw talent, you can indeed be a jack of all trades and master of all of them too. He?s one of those people whose creativity seems to know no bounds and needs to be indulged constantly. It?s undeniable: you play one of his records in a club, you see the reaction. He?s an expert technician of innovative dancefloor bombs.

?Pictures come into my mind? he says of how he starts his creative process. ?Sometimes it's the crowd on the dancefloor and sometimes it?s a personal trip, and my mission is soundtracking these pictures and emotions.? In 1985 Cem Berter aka Jamie Lewis made his first appearance as DJ on the swiss clubs circuits playing classic disco and Funk, but it wasn't too long before he soon become heavily involved in the developing House music scene in the late eighties thanks to his love and passion for music. The bassdrum is stoically kicking, some percussion are clacking hollowly and between the sounds there is a synthetical bleeping. We find ourselves on the climax of the digital age, at some rave... The beat seems to last forever but the inner emptiness is constantly growing and growing. And suddenly..., a strange glow..., music..., life in eternal ice. BENNA has entered the decks and suddenly the sound temperature changes. Beats transform into heartbeats. In everyones inner self a warm shimmer forms and formerly lost and empty ravers start to reform into living creatures.

It`s as simple as that. You certainly can feel it when BENNA is at the controls. Though you cant always tell that by the glimpse of an eye, he is rather this emotional type of guy. ... You might even notice that when you`re getting wobbly knees on the dancefloor, a flickering sight, when your heart is about to burst with heated felicity. As legend has it, once a young raver girl even melt away during one of his sets. There she lay as a self-sufficient puddle beneath the dancefloor reflecting the sky ... It is certain that the warm groove he composes in his DJ sets is indeed matchless. Deep house is his mission, but let me tell you: The guy can also rock the peaktime like hell! On the one side reduced and on the other straight forward but always with the right kind of bassline in mind. Far from any kind of randomness he fills the room with intensity and with his special grasp for the moment he seizes control over crowds, drives them to distraction, dragging them to the afterhour and back.

At the internationally renowned Harry Klein Club he has been resident since the very beginning after having played some irregular but rather sensational gigs at its predecessor, the legendary Ultraschall. Furthermore BENNA has been working with the associated Harry Klein Booking Agency right from the start. From the sets he played in Munich, he soon acknowledged international reputation as an exceptionally gifted turntablist, which resulted in gigs at Europe`s major clubs. Rino Cerrone was born in Naples in 1972. His spirit of adventure already brought him in a youth age to take part to the national motorcycle competitions, getting good results. But evidently his objectives went beyond of the motorcycling and his passion for music immediately grew up. It was in fact at the end of the Eighties that Rino started to get in touch with musical reality that contributed to the formation of his actual style. In the adolescent age he participated to the punk and rock concerts around Italy, and he started to draw near to the underground scene of squatters and illegal parties. He was fascinated then by new sonorities proposed by groups as Orb and Future Sound Of London, whose dreamy and chill out atmospheres immediately, captured his attention, and they increased his curiosity toward electronic music.

From Psychic Warriors of Gaia to Zoom records, from Autechre to Richie Hawtin, Rino lived the first ?90s in their best mystical-creative fervour. Naples shows itself careful to the new international ferments. Paul Daley, Darren Emerson, Derrick May, Dave Clarke, and lots of other, already played at least one time in his city. A chasing thirst of rhythmical weavings and sonorical daps became inevitable. Rino lives the pioneering parties by Ivan & Susy, and frequents the after hours from Space Race, soon becoming resident DJ.
Intrigued in the productive element of dance music, he purchases in 1995 a second hand Juno 106, starting the construction of what is actually his recording studio. A significant experience in the Q-Men group makes his debut in 1997, with the publication of the first record X phase up, on Marco Carole?s Design Music. Soon after Speaker Attack, Phont Music, Relentless and Primate follow. In 1999 ho registers his own label Rilis records, whom first two numbers made it one of the most prestigious labels in the world techno panorama.

In 2001 he releases excellent ep as Back To The Basics, (Genetic); Convert Filter, (Terminal M); Reset ep, (SAW Recordings), Symmetric ep (Zenit). Between 2002 and 2004 tracks are been published on Orion, Analytic Trail, Sketch, Kombination Research. Many remix: First Step (Isoghi) Subractive Synthesis VI Remixes, (Synewave), Recreations (Kombinatoin Research), Contact ep (Funktion Records), Club System 2005 (Sony BGM Music Entertainment) to mention some.
The appearances on compilation and collections are several: ?DE 9 Closer to the Edit?, (Minus)?, which contains together with other works by Rino the famous ?Optical Way?, also present on ?Relentless Beats? vol.1 e 2, on ?Vision?, for ?Combined Forces?, and on Cristian Varela and Tony Verdi compilation ?Salon de Mezclas? for ?Serial Killer Vinyl?. Moreover: Yul Records; Eukatech, XXX Records, Music Man Records, Clubstar, ZYX, Subliminal, Intec, MIxmag, Ovum.

From 1999 to 2003 Rilis produced 10 hi quality releases, which soon made it a cult label, with represses and impressive sells. In 2004 was born the Special Edition project, a collection of the very best minimal techno tracks, with his unmistakable style. Plus the new Rilis RMX project, born in 2005, where international artists remix the last 7 years Rilis hits. The same year a brand new label project: Loose Records. The label has the goal to produce and promote joung talents.
Rino Cerrone spins since 2000 in the world best festivals and clubs. He has played in big events such as: I Love Techno, Innercity, Awakenings. Form Japan to South America, his schedule is always busy. His dark-funky style and his excellent DJ sets, make him gain consent all over the world.

May it be Ibiza, London or Dubai: there are few Djs with a more international touch than ?finally famous? Tapesh, and even fewer whose style you could identify as really unique. Rainer Weichhold started djing a long time ago in the late 80ies with an eclectic mixture of Funk, Hip Hop and Indie. First he was a true hater of everything techno and house, which only changed when he had his enlightenment listening to the sets of Alex From Tokyo during Rainer?s stay in France 1993. Alex showed him how house music can be soulful and made him discover the world of Masters At Work and their NY sound.

These days Rainer Weichhold plays two resident clubs and is touring all over Europe with his brilliant mixture of house, techhouse and classics. And be aware, his sets are rocking and making every dancefloor explode. So many years of experience can?t go wrong.

But that?s not everything as Rainer Weichhold was also the A&R of the German label Great Stuff Records, where he discovered artists like Gregor Tresher, Butch, Ramon Tapia, Lutzenkirchen and many more. The label quickly gained massive respect and plays by the first league of the world?s biggest djs.

Since beginning of 2010 Rainer also manages the label Kling Klong records together with his friend Martin Eyerer.

After his very successful debut single ?Naked?, he released his first Great Stuff 12? ?Infinite Template? (with remixes by Kissy Sell Out and Martin Eyerer) in January 2007, a collaboration with Italian producers and DJs Dandi & Ugo which gained support by countless DJs for example Agoria, Mylo, Gregor Tresher, Oliver Koletzki, Etienne De Crecy.

Rainer?s own ?Bamboo/Very Nice? was released at the end of 2007 on Great Stuff featuring remixes by Format:B and Michoacan. With great support by Claude VonStroke, Karotte, Gregor Tresher, Paolo Mojo, Acquaviva, Prins Thomas, Shinedoe and Oliver Koletzki.

End of 2009 he finally came up with the highly acclaimed ?Flashmobbing EP? on Great Stuff, followed up shortly by the singles ?Ride The Horse? (Starlight), ?Tango For Noemi? (GSR), ?I Want You? (Kling Klong) and ?Reis ft. Helge Schneider? (BluFin) in 2010.
His remix for the classic ?Push Push? from Rockers Hi-Fi still gets played even nearly 2 years after release.

Joris Voorn is a record producer and Dj from Rotterdam, Netherlands. Raised in a musical family, music naturally became an intrinsic part of Voorn?s life from an early age. Electronic music first caught his attention in the mid- 90?s, and he started DJ?ing in 1997. After developing a more focused interest in house and techno, Joris invested in the versatile MC-303 Groovebox and began to experiment with synth sounds and drumloops.
By the end of 2000 Joris began building a small studio to produce his own music, which led to his first release called ?muted trax pt.1? on Keynote. His first EP was massive success, filling the record boxes of Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, DJ Rush and Technasia. In 2003 ?Lost memories Pt.1? was released on Technasia?s SINO label and was followed by ?Lost memories Pt.2? containing the anthem ?Incident? which was heard on dancefloors around the world.

After the success of ?Incident?, Voorn released his debut cd album called ?Future History? on the Sino label. Encompassing 3 years of ideas and inspiration, the cd contains 20 diverse tracks, a seamless soundscape that represents his arrival as one of the most relevant techno producers of this time.

In the summer of 2005 Joris Voorn?s new personal outlet called ?green? saw the light of day. ?A dedicated mind? was released as the first EP, which garnered success globally. He also completed his debut DJ mix CD for the Fuse club in Belgium. After Dave Clarke, DJ Hell and Technasia, Fuse presented Joris Voorn to mix part 4 of their international resident?s dj mix albums. The mix contained over 40 tracks of timeless techno music mixed with the help of Ableton Live for its endless mixing and editing possibilities.

In 2006 the sophomore release under Voorn?s Green label, named ?MPX_309?, was a crossover techno work that was played out by techno, minimal, house and trance DJs. During the same year Voorn created his second album, released worldwide in June 2007. This new piece of work called ?From a deep place? featured many different styles of electronic music, ranging from atmospheric interludes to broken beats, house and deep soulful techno.

The focus point of the ?From a deep place? CD has been the listener rather than the dancer and was received enthusiastically by the electronic music community. Some of the works were edited to more dj friendly tracks for the vinyl release of the album. During the summer of 2007 Joris has been touring with his new live performance in support of his album release.

More recently, Joris has been focusing on collaborative efforts producing remixes for respected and diverse artists such as Robert Babicz, Nic Fanciulli, Slam, Steve Angello, Sebo K and Jerome Sydenham. The ?Dark Flower Magnolia Mix? for Robert Babicz turned out to be another summer anthem in electronic dance music, and was a favourite of DJ?s like Sven Vath, Dubfire, Pete Tong and John Digweed among many others.

In 2008, following the success of his resident advisor podcast, Joris was invited to produce episode 14 of the Balance DJ mix CD series from Australia. Following in the footsteps of James Holden and Lee Burridge, Joris constructed a layered and seamless mix of electronic dance music on a double CD. An epic mix in the very best sense of the word, Balance 014 achieves the rare feat of combining variety and consistency, making it perfect for trainspotters and dancers alike. The tracks change quickly and quietly, but the groove stays. An accompanying world tour will follow where Joris will bring the essence of this studio project to the stage, using all different elements of the mix into a full range club experience.

Having established himself as a leading producer and DJ, Joris will be embarking on a new project called ?A green night?. Inspired by his surroundings, which is never limited to the dancefloor, Joris and his team will be creating a night in several festivals and clubs, exploring the possibilities of combining music and visual arts. This year the project will be developed, tested and finetuned in selected clubs.

When Martin Eyerer tells a story, everybody listens. Martin reports of his journeys throughout the continents, telling stories of wild escapades in a taxi across the Brazilian jungle through to the impressions of Earth?s capitals and the colourful array of citizens that inhabit them, and obviously of his many Gigs in these foreign lands. Those foreign places quickly become familiar territory when he sets up his digital DJ-system and starts to play that thumping first track because what he plays is groovy Electro-Tech House and the sound is a world language of its own that is euphorically absorbed through sweaty pores and pumping glands.

His passion is eminently clear when he starts to talk about his experiences and such is his passion and enthusiasm for the music that one could easily think it was all totally new to him. But it isn't. Martin Eyerer has been a DJ for 20 years ? and just as many years a producer, label owner, radio show producer. Throw in his two young children and it seems that the energy never leaves his side.

Martin Eyerer is not a laptop artist, but a true musician. His high-end studio meets the highest requirements and has become an interdisciplinary interface for mastering (whether it is Hip Hop, Pop or Electronic) and he is also co-producing several mainstream acts (Eyerer e.g.became a gold record in UK). On top of all this, the Tech-House Posse around him like Gui Boratto,Oliver Koletzki, Toni Rios, Stephan Hinz, Namito, Chopstick, Oliver Klein or Florian Meindl come to ?his house? to jam. It is a small circle of friends who share the same musical interest and who put 200% in to every release they do.

Whether collaborations, solo Works, Remixes or Compilations, all his works appear almost monthly on dance-floor dominating labels, like Kling KLong,MBF (My Best Friend), Trapez,
Great Stuff, Kickboxer and Criminal and on English big names like Renaissance. The most unbelievable aspect of this is the variety of styles Martin stands for. There is no segment from Deep house to Electro that Eyerer is not in control of, always keeping his focus on the dance-floor. This consistently high-quality of output results in rocking world-wide floor-fillers, spun by the most well-known DJs. Beyond that, hits like Make My Day (Haunting) by Eyerer and Chopstick feat. Zdar/Cassius made their way into the A-rotation of English music television.

As an important platform for his music Martin Eyerer has founded his own labels - Kling Klong and Session Deluxe. Due to the conscientious release policy (releasing artists like Koletzki, Namito, Andrea Doria, Mijk van Dijk, Diringer,Robert Babicz, Tom Pooks, Arnaud Robotini of Black strobe and Eyerer himself the Label boss was able to establish an independent sound between electro, minimal and tech-house on Kling Klong and more tooly, housy and underground on Session Deluxe. Releases of bothe Labels always enter the top 20 of all sales and download charts for electronic music.

Peak time is the best time in a DJ-set, but in Martin Eyerers opinion, you have to work for it as a DJ - there is no way to force it. With that philosophy he builds up his sets, using the newest material and unfolds an oppressive, sizable Groove. Martin Eyerer does not try to get through the night with the current hits. Instead, he travels the whole sound-spectrum in one intuitively construed DJ-set. These legendary sets make their way around the globe resulting in Martin playing regularly in all parts of the world.

But Martin wants to reach more people than only those who frequent nightclubs. That's why he regularly works on mix compilations, e.g. the double CD Movement (MBF, together with Oliver Klein). He has also set up Session De Luxe ? a national weekly radio-show that goes out live every Sunday evening on Sunshine live - Germany?s biggest station for dance music, and it?s on this platform that Eyerer presents all the latest releases for his hungry following to devour as they polish of their weekend?s activities on sofas, in bedrooms or in the car on their way home after visiting their parents for Sunday lunch in the country. Dusty Rocket was born in Caserta in the early ?80s. As a child, he discovered his passion for music thanks to his father who, on his 8th birthday, gave him an electric keyboard.
It's the early ?90s and, at that time in Caserta, first in the Club "Electra" and then in the club "Hipe", were organized party which features internationally renowned artists in the panorama House/Garage: among them, the famous Claudio Coccoluto.

Attracted by the musical ferment of those years,he bought his first console,experiencing his first mix with an old 80?s record collection of his uncle. Initially fell in love with house music, performing for some time in the most famous clubs of his city, including the "Disco Seven", but later began to be increasingly attracted to the minimal and techno sound, began to study the origins and dissemination on the world stage. Passionate about computers and software, bought his first audio-card and a MIDI controller, with whom he began to devote himself to music production.
Inspired by great dj?s such as Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke, he explores the techno sounds, making this style his music genre.

In 2008 he published his first two EPs: "First First" and "IN & OUT" on GMCo rec.
In 2009 he released the EP "Brain Wash" on T-nnelSeries and the song from which the album takes its title ("Brain Wash") is listed in the top favorites of Richie Hawtin, proving a huge success. Also in 2009 he performed in one of the most renowned clubs of Italy ,?La Vecchia Fattoria?, alongside dj's such as:Felix Krocher, Markantonio, Francois K., Beat Pharmacy.
In 2010 he joined the crew as a dj supporter of ?International Talent?, performing in locations such as Old River Park, Golden Gate, Jamila Disco, Vecchia Fattoria.
He is currently working on tracks in upcoming release.

Martin Dawson is a musician, producer and DJ who has had a lot of fun these last few years. Also releasing under the name Two Armadillos with Giles Smith from secretsundaze, London - he has worked with labels such as Bang!Bang!, Dessous, STHLM Audio, Buzzin' Fly and Four:Twenty with remixes for Moodmusic, R&S and Fear Of Flying. Working under the name King Roc he released his debut album in 2009 to critical acclaim from the international dance music press including album of the month in DJ Mag and 10/10 by IDJ Mag.

He was nominated by DJ Mag for best UK producer and best artist album 2009 along the likes of Jamie Jones and Scream. His solo a co-productions have been supported by many dance music artists such as Laurent Garnier, Tiefschwarz, Radioslave, D'Jul, Solomon, Nick Curly and Luciano to name a few. As a DJ he has travelled all over the planet from West and Eastern Europe to South American, Australia and most of Asia, to the deepest Russia and beyond playing to small intimated clubs for a few hundred party people to festivals in front of thousands taking his taste for the underground sounds of Deep House and Techno all around the world.

Since 10 February 1980, Cristian Paduraru grew in Romania, mainly Bucharest. Feeling attracted by melodic dance music since childhood. Playing since 1996 in "Studio Martin" with the project named "Fire In Water" as live performances. The style of the project was acid-breakbeat balanced with ambiental-techno. In 1998 Cristian is winning the 1st place in the "New Talent Festival" at the electronic section. In 1999 Cristian receive the 1st place in the "Klub Bizzare" contest from Atomic Tv for best house.

His philosophy, in the 90's was that "Music is the best drug", fullfilling the need for excitement. In the new millenium he got in touch with the Word of God and have the philosophy that "Love is the message". The relation with his wife, Erika, brings him much fullfillment and balance.

After the 90's era of live performances and dj performances, Cristian decided to work mainly in the studio. Between 2000 and 2004 concentrating on advertising and movie sountracks. Starting 2005 supporting The Remix Label (Inspiring Deep House) & Christian Records (Progressive Tech House)

Guido Durante was born in Italy, near Venice, in 1982.
Always passionate about music, he developed a strong interest for electronic sounds thanks to the productions of the mid-nineties he discovered listening to radio stations and through the mixtapes of the most popular clubs in the area, borrowed from older friends. In the same years he started to take piano lessons and practising with decks and records,It was only a matter of time before he discovered some basic audio software, so the natural next step was learning how to produce his own records. He made a lot of experiments at his home, but it was in 2006 when he became friend with the dj Mattia Evo that he began to work properly.

Together they opened and shared a studio located in a professional structure, and Guido soon started a strong flow of productions and remixes, including until now remixes and tracks for labels such Ocean Dark,Tanzbar, Soulman,Kina and his own Keep On Records to name but a few. At the moment he's spending most of his time on his new studio working on original tracks, remixes, collaborations but also parallel projects not necessarily related to dance music.. also he is working on launching another label for the new season 2011/2012!

Andrea Santoro is born in 1983 in Lecce. His natural bent for music starts in 1996 when he begin djing house music with friends.. During these years Andrea discovers the various flavours of club music, from techno to deep house that he suddenly loves. He feels attraction for the nightlife and so he starts playing as a dj in several parties in clubs of his town. In the following years he approaches to the production of music releasing dancefloor addicted house tracks. His first work, produced with the collaboration of Loaded and Guido Nemola released on Street Vibes, is licensed in many countries and played by several djs around the world. This track gives him the opportuniy to be noticed and to start collaborations with other young producers.

During these years Santorini grows artistically and tecnically, mixing down in his tracks old deep house influences with new minimal techno sounds. In 2007 starts the label ?Recycle Records? with Guido Nemola and Luigi Scrimitore, in which they release minimal house music (always celebrating the musical history of Chicago and Detroit). After spending several years producing in studio and playing in clubs, Santorini releases on many important record labels like Upon You, Bond Records, Glueckskind Schallplatten King Street, Ocean Dark, Italobusines..

His tracks have been played by a lot of very important djs like: Luciano, Karotte, Afrilounge, Audiofly, Laurent Garnier, Marco Resmann, Dan Curtin Jeff Samuel, Lauhaus, C Rock, Hot Chip, Steve Bug, Solomun, Barem, Kiki, Tom Clark, Florian Meindl, Karotte, Anthony Collins, 3 Channels, Someone Else, Italoboyz, Miss Jools, Mark Henning, Benno Blome, Bloody Mary.. and his popularity is growng day byday thanks to the passion he fills inside his projects.

Alex and Filip both live on the west side of the small European country called Slovenia. Experienced DJ's since 1998, Alex and Filip joined forces as a professional DJ duo in 2005. They quickly gained success with the release of their first collaborative tracks together. The very first studio sessions brought to light some tracks that grabbed the ears of DJ's such as Futureshock, Hernan Cattaneo, Mashtronic, Deepgroove, Chris Lake and James Talk among many others. Their first official release called ?Lights Out EP? became a hit on the Balance record pool chart and reached 16th place after only 2 weeks. Stacey Pullen is the Kosmik Messenger. An innovator from the second wave of Detroit techno, he grew up under the mentorship of Detroit's legendary three: Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson. Still continuing to produce his characteristic atmosphere laden electronic sound, Stacey Pullen compounds his reputation as a producer with that of being one of the world's most in demand DJs, playing weekly across the globe year in year out. With a font of passion for music and performance that never dries up, Stacey Pullen still plays every gig from the heart, seeking to surprise and engage, to provide an unforgettable experience, to offer his unique catalogue up without predictability, defying expectation. Above all, from his earliest attempts to the current day Stacey Pullen has stayed true to his one goal: to become and to always be an Innovator. From the age of 9, when he started playing flute in his school band, Stacey has always been playing musical instruments. In high school he found himself traveling around to a lot of cities in the USA playing percussion in school bands, which gave him a taste of and preparation for TH the traveling involved in life as a musician. He had also seen and been prepared for a musician's life from watching his father who was in a Motown band called the Capitals in the 1970's, filling much of Stacey's childhood with observations of a life dedicated to music and travel. Around 1985, while Stacey was still drumming and traveling with his high school band, the Detroit Techno movement was born, and provided a revolutionary sound to the youth of Detroit. Stacey Pullen and some friends from his band took their cue from musical leaders like Jeff Mills and Electrifying Mojo Radio and began to experiment with turntables and a mixer. He also started clubbing around the age of 15, the first club he frequented was called 'The Primadonna', the first DJ he remembered was a local legend called Alan Ester and the first music he was clubbing to was called 'Progressive Music' not in the sense of the word that we currently understand, but because, in Stacey's words the meaning of 'progressive' was a futuristic way of thinking about music.

After graduating he went to university in Tennessee, leaving techno behind apart from mix tapes and weekend jaunts back to Detroit to go to legendary club the Music Institute. After a couple of years, Stacey realized his future was in music not academics, and he abandoned his course and moved home to make music full time. Through The Music Institute, Stacey quickly got to know the leading lights of Detroit's underground: Alton Miller, Chez Damier, Derrick May. Alton was living in the same building as the club, and showed Stacey a lot of the background activity, including watching Derrick May making his tapes for his weekly radio show. Stacey approached Derrick, told him that he made music and Derrick invited him to play some to him. From here, Stacey started hanging out at the Transmat studios and became friends with Jay Denham, who was recording on Transmat sub label Fragile as 'Fade to Black'. Stacey watched Jay work, absorbed a lot of knowledge, and from there Stacey started putting more sophisticated beats together, making his first real tracks. He played some to Derrick who told him O it's cool but you need to work harder which Stacey resolved to do and went back to the studio. A couple of years later, in 1992, Derrick suggested that a good way to develop his skills would be for Stacey to do some remix work with Kevin Saunderson. Stacey began to work with Kevin on remixes including one for Karen White -'The Way I Feel About You' and some which never made it to print, including one for the Prodigy. While Kevin was originally commissioned, he asked Stacey to do his own remix. The Prodigy liked it, but their label didn't. Stacey kept the backing track without the Prodigy samples, and turned it into his first track which was later released through a subsidiary of KMS in 1993. After some more time perfecting his craft Stacey again played some original sounds to Derrick, who agreed to release his first Silent Phase track 'Ritual Beating System' as the 'Bango EP' on Fragile, which was Derrick's experimental label. Stacey was also invited to submit this track, Wave The Rave Goodbye, to a compilation of new Detroit artists on KMS. At this point Stacey truly became part of the Transmat / Metroplex/ KMS team TH the three studios worked very closely together, and were housed on different floors of the same building in downtown Detroit. In early 1993 Derrick, who was spending most of his time outside the USA at that time, started encouraging Stacey to play gigs in Europe to widen his audience and support the single. He invited Stacey to join him in Amsterdam for a month TH that month became a year. He moved in with Derrick and together they toured Europe every weekend playing Detroit techno to what Stacey remembers as an enthusiastic and interested audience.

Stacey began to play high profile gigs at clubs like London's Ministry of Sound and Paris's Rex Club, and began meeting the DJs and artists who worked in Europe like Laurent Garnier, Frank De Woolf and Renat and Marcus Loan from Belgian super label R & S, who invited Stacey into the studios to make a record. This ended up becoming the first Silent Phase album, 'Theory of Silent Phase' in 1994. After a year, Stacey moved back to Detroit, ready to establish himself and start his own label. Throughout 1994 he commuted between Europe and the USA, finishing the Silent Phase album at R & S and DJing. He also made his first trips to Japan, South East Asia and Australia to DJ. By then he had released another Fragile track 'The Sphinx' as Bango, and the first Silent Phase album was ready for release on Transmat in association with R & S. Flooding in after the album release were a lot of offers for Stacey to record on other labels, including one from Mr. C to record on his UK label Plink Plonk. This esulted in a couple of released on Plink Plonk by the alias 'Kosmik Messenger' TH 'Eye to EyeO and 'Flash' -both released in 1995. Stacey was also DJing a lot of dates at The End and around Europe, which continued non stop until 1997. Through his releases on Plink Plonk, Stacey was then invited to release on the new Belgian label 'Elypsia' as 'Kosmic Messenger', which led to the release of his second LP 'The Kollected Works of Kosmic Messenger', which Stacey recollects as a 'straight up techno album' for him, after the more spiritual first album on Transmat. In 1998 Stacey was invited to produce his very first major label release on Virgin Records, and at the same time was planning to open the label he had wanted to start for about three years 'BlackFlag'. He recorded a more conceptual LP 'Today is the Tomorrow You Were Promised Yesterday ' for Virgin imprint OScienceO, the first under his own name. He was very influenced by his research into the history of Jazz, and with the support of Virgin TH used unorthodox ideas including the inclusion of an Opera Singer on one track 'Vertigo'.

He also released remixes from influential artists of the time like Dave Angel and 4Hero. He also started his first label Black Flag Recordings with his partner of that time, and started releasing records as 'Black Odyssey', starting with 'Sweat' in 1998 and then 'The Stand in 2000'. Around that time, as vinyl started to look a little shakier and after 8 years of consecutive releasing and touring, Stacey took a break from recording. He began to ramp up his DJing schedule even more, and spent the next 4 to 5 years concentrating mainly on furthering his own musical education. Through this time, Stacey's reputation as a DJ became as much of a draw card as his reputation as a producer, and he became renowned for long, experimental, adventurous and soulful journeys through music lasting at least 5 hours. He sees each set as a 'best of' all dance music through time there is no one style he prefers, Stacey just plays the best of everything, with an emphasis on passion and innovation: no two sets are alike. 2010 sees Stacey still on the road DJing bringing his signature eclecticism to some lucky part of the planet. As a result, every set becomes more personalised, more unique, and indisputably a window into Stacey's musical passions. The lure of this technological innovation has also brought Stacey back to the studio, making his own tracks and executive producing other artists. Also, excitingly, he has rekindled his BlackFlag label plans to release older material which has never been heard before. Einzelkind are Miguel Ayala and Arno Volker.
Two guys from Frankfurt that love and live House and Techno music. They released several records on labels like Playhouse, Cocoon, Oslo or Get Physical. In 2008 they founded their own imprint La Pena. La Pena stands for quality underground music without big marketing. That is the reason, why you won't find any names on the actual vinyl releases.
It is just about music not about names.
In 2010 they founded their second label: Jax.
Jax is a collective of like-minded artists, musicians, thinkers and booty shakers, who belive there is more to records then just some grooves engraved into black plastic. Their vision is to treat each record as a presentation itself, complete with original and individual artwork, features and exhibition. Each production will feature artwork shown in cube of about 8 cubic meters.
Every record release will be strictly limited to 500 copies, which includes a poster referencing the piece made by the artist.
Further emphasizing its exclusive nature, the project will be limited to 10 releases. On Jax 000 and 001 Einzelkind released the first album in conjunction with Christian Burkhardt called Revolver.
In 2011 they started producing their own radio show. Check Einzelkind.info for all tourdates and infos. Einzelkind have got a residency at the infamous Robert Johnson Offenbach and regular label-nights at Watergate Berlin. Their track icon (w/ Christian Burkhardt) will be released on the next Cocoon compilation. Their remix (w/ Christian Burkhardt) of Matthias Meyers More or Less will be released later in 2011 on Cecille.

Alfred Azzetto is one of the most respected and leading figures within the Italian House Music scene and beyond throughout the world as both a DJ and producer.
Born and raised in Italy, his experience within music stretches back over 20 years to the Eighties where he launched and established his international profile around the globe.
At the height of the 90s house boom, Alfred was offered a residency at three of the leading Clubs in Italy, namely at Muretto, Movida and Matilda (Jesolo - Venice).
His sound is best described always combination of various types of music, a very personal style and rich in a wide musical background which is regarded as the key to his success. Many of his productions and co-productions reached the top of the international dance charts. "Point of view", debut single of his DB Boulevard project, was a smash hit, remaining number one for three weeks on the USA Billboard Dance Chart. The single was one of the biggest selling singles in Italy, which in turn lead to a nomination for the MTV Music Awards 2002. Last year, Alfred signed for the illustrious Purple Music label. Edoardo Scarpellini aka E-dward! Is born in Pisa (Tuscany) in 1988. At the tender age of fourteen he followed his father?s tips in terms of 70?s funk and Disco. He started to develop interest in music he gots his first approach with vinyls.

Shortly after he realized to be a deep and true house music lover!
In 2005 he started his career as a DJ at Kama Kama (Lucca), one of the biggest italian club at that time. In 2008 he started to collaborate with Metempsicosi, dj booking agency with one of the biggest italian roster: he quickly became resident dj at Reflex Club (Pisa), where he regularly shares the decks with national and international guests.

At the same time, in order to be able to express what he?s never had the occasion to communicate he started producing electronic music. The sound is aggressive but still sweet and melodic, the beat is cutting edge, but still warm and groovy, blending a disco atmosphere into a modern dirty house production. His dj sets are etherogeneous: E-dward! can be a techno dj and play an amazing funky set, his music is anyway full of happiness, experimental sometimes, but always welcoming and original.

Born in Italy soon to be moving at the tender age of 6 to find home with his family in Belgium, country where pioneer techno labels such as R&S and Music Man found a home too.
Strongly influenced by the early sound of electro and hip hop and by movies such as Wildstyle, he progressively got more interested in the electronic sound.
After discovering acts such as Dave Clarke, Derrick May, Jeff Mills and The Advent it was clear for him which was the direction he wanted to take.
He started expressing his love for techno music through a pair of decks but soon realized he needed something more and started producing.
When he moved in Bristol (UK) he found a very dynamic musical scene and started together with D-Gelo promoting succesful club nights Out Of Phase and later Cuisine that brought some of the best electronic music acts to the city, and that became one of the most important audio-visual collectives in the UK. During this years he refined his dj skills playing alongside with The Advent, Tadeo, Peverelist, Tony Rohr, Oxia and Apparat between many others. As a DJ he had the occasion to play around the world in countries such as Japan, Italy, UK, Belgium, Greece, Romania, Switzerland, Portugal etc and in festivals such as the Bloc Weekend, Boomfestival or Cau D'Orella.
In 2003 he finally decided together with D-Gelo to form officially Micropunto Schallplatten, a concept that both had in mind for a long time and that today is reality. With growing support from renowned artists, the label continues on its crusade to bring out the best Detroit and Dub techno.

Enrico De Vecchi a.k.a. OldEric was born on February 8, 1983 in Venice, Italy. Music has always been part of his life, having formed a strong understanding and appreciation for it even as a young child. While growing up, he studied the piano for nearly 6 years which formalized his knowledge of music theory. In 2002, he purchased his first computer to start composing his own electronic music. OldEric then started playing out in all known clubs in Venice as a resident. In summer of 2004, OldEric has been elected as 'Best Deejay' during the Vodafone live tour in Italy. In Summer of 2005, he was snapped up at ilMuretto disco, the most important club of northern Italy that guests important producers and international DJs. In 2003 he opened his own recording studio called 'Domestika Records'. Initially, by producing some house and funky tracks Eric became more interested in clubhouse. In 2004 he started to collaborate with dj Brusca at Anubistudios. Here he started some productions useful to sample the market and business of music, in order to get a big success. Schooled on mix tapes by the likes of Bambaata, DJ Cheese and Froggy, and with his musical roots in reggae, funk, disco, electro, rare groove and hip-hop, by his mid teens he was spinning at after-hours 'blues' houses and a few years later came the acid house explosion with pirate radio and clubs. Joss Moog is a keyboard player/ composer/ dj who started in house music in the 2000s. His first release was a remix of ithat thangi by Fred Everything on the label 20:20 vision in 2004. Then his first EP, Room 25, was released on Robsoul in 2006. It appeared on different compilations such as Mark Farinais Sessions (Ministry of Sound) and was played by Djs like Derrick Carter, Dj Sneak, Hector MoralezO Since then, Joss has produced two other EPs: Room 26 (Robsoul, 2008) and Hitting Switches (Minority, 2009) and worked on different remixes and coproductions. The project Audiomatiques is the result of the long musical experience of the Neapolitan dj producers Raf Pisani and Marco Conte. Actually born in 2010, it lays its foundations in the 90s when the then teenagers Raf and Marco begin to perform for mere passion as djs in private parties. The years go by and the dj hobby turns into a profession, they are granted the chance to play in the main clubs of Campania and not only, sharing the consolle with world famous artists. Since 2003 they have been living between Ischia and Naples, they graduate as producers of electronic music at the Nut Academy and begin their training to become professional producers, attending several recording studios alongside with sound engineers and producers on a national scale.

At the same time they take part in the main festivals of electronic music throughout Europe, enriching this way their cultural baggage and exploiting the influence of the most famous artists of the world "underground" survey. Their stay in Naples, a city known all over the world owing to its 360 degrees art, and the direct touch with the founders of the "techno made in Naples" give the definitive stamp to the style of the Audiomatiques. The experimentation and the permanent research of "fresh" sonorities make their pieces distinguishable from the mass and don?t pass unnoticed to the eyes of the "attached people", often reaching the top of the charts in the main musical portals. A team of four Italian artists sharing the passion for music.
Fabrizio Rosset - touches his first record when 13,gains experience in various local radio stations in the Valle D'Aosta region (North-West Italy) and at the same time starts working in different discos...basically he plays in every club of the area. Fond of ?70s and ?80s music he lived and played the discos of that period, records which he owns and jealously preserves. Afterwards he cultivates his passion for HOUSE music, which he sees rising and developing until today. At the moment he performs as guest DJ at JIVE disco of Aosta.

Luigi Marchetto - starts his career age 15, works in the best clubs in the Veneto and Friuli regions (North-East Italy) and also cooperates with a radio station. A big fan of DISCO music from which he finds inspiration for new productions.

Giacomo Moscatello, born in Italy in 1981, with his project Decoside embodies a sound deep and dub, direct derivation of techno and house music. His career as a producer starts with breakbeat and minimal sounds, publishing several works on digital labels that pave the way for collaborations with some of the most talented producers in Turin (his hometown) and some overseas labels. Among these Pronounce the Detroit, that published, between 2008 and 2009, the limited CD "Depth Perceptions" which includes tracks by artists from around the world as Quantec, Havantape and Atheus, and sees Decoside to represent the dub-techno italian scene on the wake of rough and full-bodied sounds like Moritz Von Oswald, DeepChord and Brendon Moeller. Later, a collaboration with Roberto Bardini lead to the release for 2600 Records and released "Walking Straight" for Radiance Ltd, and then dedicated to numerous remixes.

In this period also comes his debut 12-inch, "Re-Load v1"for the cult label Eclipse. At the same time participates with his live set at Club to Club, the most important Italian festival of electronic music, hosting artists like Carl Craig, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier and many others. 2010 marks the year of change, the year of contamination of the dub soul of Decoside with feelings directed toward the house and deep sounds. As evidence of this the Exprezoo Records released "Moments Of Domina enacting a de facto dual musical personality. On the one hand, the moniker Decoside as representing the rhythmic dub techno and ambient sounds and the other Jamie Rawside pushing his side house.

In an age of short attention spans and constant media bombardment, Subfractal have unquestionably cemented their position as powerful techno tastemakers. One of the most recent questions I heard in the last ten months was, .."how can you combine work with maternity?".. my answer is short, with love and passion. Of course my life got a totally new dimension, but if you plan things ahead and organise your time, everything is possible.
Relating to all things our world is going through, last couple of years were full of happiness and joy.
Lucie Kvasnicova, better known as LUCCA, strikes back after a year of pregnancy break. People think once you become a mother it is anything else but easy to come back on the scene, especially nowadays when the market is full of new talents and promising new names.. but people are sometimes also wrong..

It's for sure she missed her Dj gigs and all her fans across the globe, she was barely at home during weekends in the last ten years of her professional Dj career, so not playing around was a big change, but the truth is, that Lucca didn't miss a day around music and clubbing in the past year. She worked hard in the background, studying new software's, producing and listening lots of fresh music, searching for young talents and developing her digital label.

This beautiful woman from Czech Republic has played and placed herself into the hearts of her fans throughout the last decade and received much respect from male colleagues inside the clubbing scene. Many of them estimate Lucca a lot and cherish her style and skills and give her the references as a worldwide top-Dj needs to have. Lucca's approach towards the perfect sound has always been accompanied by authenticity and devotion. At the very beginning she captured in her vibes more housy elements but afterwards she was seduced by pure techno sounds and let herself into it... The question for one of the magazines was, How do you define your music and she said.. "funky, abstract, energetic. And as for the style.. in my sets I really enjoy mixing techno with tech house and progressive house. The important thing is that I love the track and to see people dancing, doesn't matter if it is techno or house.."

When Sammy Goossens was 12, he got his first Yamaha CS01 synthesizer for Christmas and started to make noises. That?s where it all began. After playing in local Belgian bands, Sammy discovered he could make music on his own with a sampler and computer, leading to his first self-produced vinyl with 6th Sense Approach in 1995. Over the next decade, he would release on a variety of labels like Re-load, Pure Plastic, Access 58, R&S, Teknotika and Trapez. During those years, Sammy started playing live gigs and promoting parties, once inviting Suburban Knight (Underground Resistance) to Belgium. A strong brotherhood started between the two, and Sammy helped the Detroit legend to set up a live act and toured with him. When Peacefrog offered the Knight an album deal, he invited Sammy to co-produce.

In 2004, Sammy became friends with Marcus Vector, and the two decided to launch Toys For Boys Records. As the label?s reputation grew, a few years later, Jay Haze invited Sammy to become involved with TuningSpork and Contexterrior, pushing Sammy to produce even more music, resulting in more releases. He continues to work on new material, often collaborating with Marcus Vector (including their house project D.I.Y.) as well as Bloody Mary, whose debut album is scheduled for release on Contexterrior in 2009. More recently , Sierra Sam got offered to remix Monika Kruse for Terminal M , Fuckpony for B Pitch Control and Tim Xavier & Par Grindvik for Ltd 400 .He also collaborated with Break 3000 for Dirt Crew s 5 years compilation and will feature on the label in 2010 with a solo p . His live act has brought him to some of the world?s top clubs including Fabric (London), Rex (Paris), Watergate and Tresor (Berlin).

Some people filter through the record bins, taking what are on the wall or record store employee suggestions. Then there are people who dig deeper into the dusty crates, and absorb music like a sponge; ignoring labels, bucking trends and are forever on a quest to find the perfect record. The ones that make the staunchest of chin stroking, note taking trainspotters lose their shit on the dancefloor, hanging on every record from one to the next. Derek Plaslaiko unquestionably falls into the latter category. As a teen equally transfixed by Mojo and Wizard cassettes and Minor Threat 7?s, Plaslaiko followed the beats from his hometown 20 miles south of Detroit to the epicenter of Detroit techno, then enjoying its third wave of success. He quietly paid his dues on Detroit?s rave circuit, and was a crucial piece of the puzzle for the legendary Poorboy and Analog parties of the mid?nineties. He quickly earned a reputation for forward thinking DJ sets that were clinical, sophisticated and extremely sensual. This combination resulted in a residency for Family, the weekly party at Detroit?s legendary Motor.

With a reputation for high energy sets that were versatile and tasteful, Plaslaiko slowly became in demand on the Midwestern club circuit; sharing the stage with such techno luminares as John Acquaviva, Kevin Saunderson, Richardo Villalobos, Baby Ford, and Matthew Herbert. It was also during that time Plaslaiko was asked by Carl Craig to perform at the inaugural edition of the Detroit Electronic Music Festival.

In 2003, Plaslaiko became part of the original team of DJs at Detroit?s Untitled parties, sharing a residency with Tadd Mullinix (aka James T. Cotton), Matthew Dear and Mike Servito. In 2004 he made the decision to head east and set up camp in New York City, determined to bring a slice of the Motor City to the Big Apple. Currently, Derek is one of the resident DJs at the Bunker (Subtonic) in NYC, as well as an integral part of the Wolf + Lamb monthly parties. Most recently, he was honored in the Village Voice 2006 ?Best Of? poll as New York?s Best Techno DJ.

During 2008 Flawer and Nick Borsato met togheter and they started a project with the aim to produce and promote techno music. After a year of work, the duo came out in March 2010, with "L'anno del Contatto EP" on Evolution Recordings.

A single called "Age of Bricks" came out in September 2010 on Impact Mechanics including 2 remixes edited by Audio Injection and Dany Rodriguez. The ?Audio Injection remix? is playing and it has been charted by Chris Liebing, the Original mix was played by Richie Hawtin. Later, two remixes come out, one for Saverio Celestri on Frequenza Records in October 2010, and the other one for Bodyscrub on Teggno Records on December 2010.
Their next releases are: an Ep on Reloading Records with 3 remixes edited by Hans Bouffmyhre, Submerge and Morgan Tomas; a single track on the American label SubSensory, and a remix for Mark Morris on Ketra Records.

In their performances they play, combining in three laptops, Traktor, Ableton, Maschine and external analogic effects, creating a sort of experimental live session.

Mathias Schaffhauser?s around in the techno, house and minimal scene since 1994. In march 2009 he released his 8th album called ?Unequal Equality? which features 10 collaborations between him and various artists, including Ware acts like Benjamin Brunn, And.id, Markus Guntner and Ziggy Kinder, Schaffhauser?s long time hero Alex Smoke, but also new ones such as Lucy or Xhin from Singapore (both with releases on Meerestief Rec. and Stroboscopic Artefacts). ?Unequal Equality? was released on CD and on 3 vinyl EPs (EP 3 features 2 exclusive new tracks and an alternative version of one of the CD tracks. Enrico Maraffini aka Quike, born in 1985, is a dj/producer completely dependent from house music. Working for several years and already author of several releases on Smoke City Music and Exprezoo Records, merges techno and house with different shades of deep and dub; instead in his live sets, he supports the concept of house in its purest form to techno.

After ?La vie en rose? dated June 2009, second output of the Exprezoo?s catalog, proposed his version of ?Din Da Da? released for Exprezoo Records last summer. During the Edit Festival his last selease, comes the second ep always with the label of the ?train? with which shows a remarkable artistic growth that allowed him to earn a place in the bags of the best djs in the world.

In 1998 Aril Brikha reacquainted the world with deep techno soul, as his record Groove La Chord crossed generic boundaries. Is it techno? Is it house? Is it deep house? It?s everything and nothing. Groove La Chord is simply timeless. No one was more surprised about the success of Groove La Chord than Brikha himself ? after all, he?d originally presented it on his demo as a potential B-side. Two years after he recorded Groove La Chord, Brikha heard it in a club for the first time ? Derrick May pulled it out in Chicago club. Aril then realised what made it a good track.

As a cultural exile in Sweden, Aril Brikha has never been one to conform. Born in Iran with Assyrian ancestry, Brikha emigrated to the Scandinavian country at three. Brikha demonstrated his musicality early ? with his parents nurturing his talent. At seven, Aril was given a keyboard and his father who taught him how to play. Before long, Aril was picking up notes by ear. In his early teens he developed an interest in electronic music acts ? such as Depeche Mode, Front 242 and Jean Michel Jarre. Brikha obtained an Atari and started to learn how to use a sequencer and, after initially emulating the music of others, he began composing his own at 16. Friends who heard his material told him it was 'Detroit techno?. Brikha had no idea what that was ? and so they played him records by Robert Hood and Berlin?s Basic Channel. At a time when the Swedish techno sound was starting to be identified with minimal, loop-based 'DJ tools?, Brikha was creating cerebral, emotional and spiritual electronic music. No one wanted to listen. Brikha disseminated his earliest material on Swedish imprints ? Dunkla, Plump, and Placktown ? but realizing that his music wasn?t what the local labels were seeking, he looked for fresh outlets.

Aril, now residing in Stockholm, obtained the addresses of three independent companies ? among them Derrick May?s Transmat Records ? and posted out demos. As it happened, Transmat contacted Brikha and, as a consequence, his Art Of Vengeance EP (with Groove La Chord) was issued on its sister label, Fragile, in 1998. A year on, Aril followed it up with the LP Deeparture In Time, a collection of evocative grooves ? like the intricate Embrace, transcendent Otill and the electro-funk Setting Sun ? gathered over a six year period and laid down with just one keyboard, a drum machine and an Atari. It drew exultant reviews. Since forging an alliance with Transmat, Brikha, celebrated as the new star of deep techno, has toured solidly with his live show, playing everywhere from the inaugural DEMF (Detroit Electronic Music Festival) to clubs like London?s Fabric and Tokyo?s Air and Yellow.

With a large gap in releases Brikha reemerged from a production hiatus with a few select releases on some of Europe?s most forward thinking and popular electronic labels showcasing the width and breadth of his production style; On Belgium?s historic Music Man label Aril?s sound progressed with a more in your face, harder production but still maintaining that classic Detroit sound. On Germany?s trendsetting minimal Kompakt Brikha?s 'Winter Ep? took yet another turn with two tracks that were destined for the bigger clubs and making them massive peak time performers. And finally on highly desirable German imprint Poker Flat this time Brikha was again destined to find a new wider audience with the upfront, plastic percussion and gnarly synths ? Maximal sounds and Minimal production.

Fast forward to summer 2007 and the long time awaited releases on Peacefrog bring both Brikha and Peacefrog back to where they begun with two 12? and then a full length album showcasing Aril?s classic sound of Detroit techno / house with elements of his recent productions. With haunting strings, filtered chords and synth pads adorning the hypnotic beats, Ex Machina transcends dance music?s ever multiplying genre?s and brings back the old feeling of making us just want to dance.

After yet another production hiatus, Brikha made the decision in early 2010 to finally set up a label of his own. The idea and name for it was actually conceived prior to the Transmat release but when that happened, the name of the planned label, Art of Vengeance was used as the the titel of the Fragile EP. Now the label Art of Vengeance is born and the first release will be in the form of a 10 year anniversary of the first album that came out on Transmat, Deeparture in Time. The album has been revisited in collaboration with Jesper Dahlback who has remastered all the tracks and during the digging in old DAT-tapes, old and unreleased tracks were found. These tracks are put on an additional CD with other rare tracks that came out as b-sides or on the US version of Deeparture in Time.

Deeparture in Time ? Revisited will come out as a double CD, a double vinyl LP with selected tracks and as an additonal 12?containing 3 remixes made by Deetron, Jori Hulkkonen and Octave One.

Giorgio Valletta starts as a radio dj in 1984: after collaborating with local Turin stations like Radio Torino Popolare and Radioflash, in 1997 he hosts the first network version of Patchanka (for all Italian stations connected to Popolare Network) and in the two following years he goes on to work for national broadcaster Rai where he shares with Paolo Ferrari the summer seasons of Stereonotte and Boogie Nights, through which he introduces new dance and electronic sounds to the Italian audience.
Currently he writes about music on DJ Mag Italia and monthly magazines Rumore and Il Giornale Della Musica.

In 1997 he creates, together with Sergio Ricciardone, a club night called Xplosiva, that since its birth has become more and more one of the most significant projects in the Italian dance/electronic music scene.
Run together with promoter Roberto Spallacci, Xplosiva has developed a unique personality and the stubborn will to anticipate contemporary dance music sounds and styles without ever compromising its own identity.
After having played with Xplosiva in the best Italian clubs and electronic music festivals, in summer 2003 Giorgio Valletta was the only Italian dj playing a set at Barcelona?s Sonar Festival.
Since then, he has been djing at London?s The End and Egg, Berlin's Watergate, and in many other clubs around the world, from Ibiza to Tokyo.
Xplosiva has also been organizing for 10 years in Turin the International Festival of Electronic Music and Arts ?Club To Club?, whose latest edition in November 2010 featured the likes of Modeselektor, James Holden, Kode9, Jeff Mills, Joy Orbison, Riva Starr, Caribou and Four Tet.

Giorgio Valletta is also part, together with Repeater, of a duo named Computer Says No, whose ?mission? is to shake dancefloors with sounds and styles from nu disco to fidget house.

His eclectic vision, together with his party attitude, allow him to play dj sets able to break down the walls between different musical genres.

An irresistible need to immerse himself in house music led Bosnian DJ Mladen Tomic to launch his career, playing clubs in his hometown of Banja Luka, since 1996. Two years later he had made a job of what started as a hobby, establishing a reputation for a sound that mixed deep, tech-house with more tribal rhythms.

That pulsing vein continues to be tapped to this day, with track releases and gigs from triple-decker Mladen presenting an infectious blend of deep, tech-house, techno and tribal with energy, variety and a harder sound.
Times took an upturn in 1999 when Mladen partnered with fellow Banja Lukan DJ Sinisa Tamamovic to set up Urban Beat, an organisation that has successfully promoted events and tours in their native Republika Srpska and throughout Bosnia (Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Doboj, Prijedor, Mostar, Bihac, Travnik, Zenica). Hi organised a lot of parties in Banja Luka (clubs Boomerang, Sokolski, Music Hall), which was very important for scene there.

In 2002, Mladen added production to his talents, releasing original tracks and remixes across some of Europe?s main techno and electronic labels. First release was In June 06, he unveiled an original four-track EP ?Neuro? for Fly Life, ranking highly on download charts, then February 07 saw the release of a remix for Axel Karakasis' track ?Moving Shadows? on Adult Records. In period 2008 ? 2010 Mladen refreshed his sound, took more tech house and minimal parts in, and got recognizable his own techno style. Releases and tracks (?Tangas?, ?Before Sunset?, "Day In Barracuda", ?Fly and Drive?, ?Dens? etc) on MKT, Loose, Definitive, Night Light, Yin Yang etc have got a big support from big artists such as Adam Beyer, Umek, Dubfire, Reichie Hawtin, John Acquaviva, Sebastien Leger, Markantonio, Rino Cerrone, Joseph Capriati, Marko Nastic, Tevor Rockliffe, Kaiserdisco... and also was highly ranking in all world big music shops (Beatport, Decks Rewcords). Forthcoming releases are due on their own Night Light label, as well as from their previous stables.

Another milestone will be marked with the December launch of Night Light Records, the brainchild of Mladen and Sinisa, delivering a solid roster of releases into 2008 and beyond.

Mladen has also played abroad numerous times, including Serbia (EXIT 04, 08, 09 festival Novi Sad, Belgrade, Nis, Sombor), Montenegro (Podgorica, H.Novi, Kotor), Croatia (Krizevci, Rovinj, Rijeka, S.Brod), Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh), England (Essex ? London), Germany (Karlsruhe), Spain (Tarancon), Austria (Innsbruck), Slovenia (Sezana, Maribor, N.Gorica) and Macedonia (Skopje, Kocani, Ohrid)... so far!

Nearly ten years on, Sinisa has established a reputation for throwing mind-numbing parties across Europe, attracting a legion of followers willing to cross borders to get a taste of his twisted techno, tech-house and minimal beats.

Since 1999 Sinisa has successfully partnered with fellow Banja Luka DJ Mladen Tomic in their URBAN BEAT organization. Quickly recognizing a niche to fill in the recovering Bosnia, Urban Beat has evolved as probably the country?s foremost promoter of events and parties by booking top drawer international names to satisfy a hungry home crowd.

The talented boy Flavio Diaz was born in Naples in 1988. Since he was a little child his first passions were the piano and the computers. He grows up listening all types of music but obsessed by videogames melodies building up his iterest for electronic music in particular.
At the age of 15 he falls in love with Techno joining all the big parties in Naples and inspired by many artists like Rino Cerrone, Markantonio, Marco Carola, Adam Beyer, Richie Hawtin, etc... Day by day just as a game he begins to have his first approachs with music production softwares and in particular electronic music production ones. First exploring the world of experimental electronic music production, but his techno/funk influence was clear to see also in his first tracks ever.
With the time his Dj Sets and his productions were changing, growing the quality and the production methods until he decides in 2007 to go to study "Music Production and Sound Engineering" in two colleges in London, rising up his knowledge and bringin his production skills to very high levels. Soon he signed for many very good Labels in the Techno scene like ANALYTICTRAIL (MARKANTONIO'S LABEL), his first vinyl, receiving a lot of good feedbacks and played by many important dj's like Christian Varela, Xpansul, Rino Cerrone etc...
Soon he is releasing 2 vinyls on LOOSE Rec. (RINO CERRONE'S LABEL) and 1 of it made in the great collaboration with Rino Cerrone, then the "big" WEAVEMUSIC with 2 releases, and RILIS (RINO CERRONE'S LABEL) with a track of Rino Cerrone remixed by Flavio Diaz, MKT (MARKANTONIO'S LABEL) and workin on many other EPs and Remixes.

Not Only Noise is a different way of feeling music music. This concept of "not only noise" is the result of a broader debate on the relationship between sounds and noises in electronic music. In this language of sound, in fact, noise and music are inseparable and the border between the two becomes imperceptible. If the music produced by natural instruments the two main aspects are the harmony and melody, plus the electronic music sound.

The sound (not in the physical sense of the term: in fact all the music and the sound that we perceive are composed of sounds), becomes an added value as a determining factor in the emotional perception of what we're listening to. To understand this language is therefore necessary to enter into a timeless dimension and check the depth of sounds and noises that are interwoven, creating moods, rhythms, harmonies ... soundscapes.

Jochem Paap (the Rotterdam artist owes the nickname Speedy J to his DJ skills) is unanimously considered to be one of the first techno producers to come from the Benelux. Together with people like Laurent Garnier, Aphex Twin and Richie Hawtin he helped raising the genre just after it had escaped the Detroit delivery room. Since the early nineties, Speedy J releases on labels like Plus 8, Warp and Novamute. But while techno develops into a dominating force on many dance floors worldwide, Jochem Paap, after the albums G Spot (1993) and Ginger (1995), turns left and heads for
other exciting places. On Public Energy No. 1 (1997) and A Shocking Hobby (2000) the sound wizard exchanges flowing, harmonious techno for a much more complex sound, filled with colliding samples, crackling rhythms and tremendously thrilling turns.

After fifteen years of techno Speedy J now has come full circle. But what a wide circle it was, and how fickle the trodden path. Over the years he has collaborated with video-artists, filmmakers and advertisers, made the pioneering DVD Umfeld, an audiovisual, electronic trip, which sets the standard for many composers who want to compose for six speakers in the coming years ? remarkably made available as a free download on the internet. But not only that, Speedy J has continuously been pushing the boundaries of electronic & experimental dance music. Blurring the lines between Live performance and Digital Djing, he fuses subversive electronics and peak time Techno. Together with his partner in crime Chris Liebing he started using Traktor and other Software technology on 4 laptops with hardware such as Machine Drum and 303?s to create a fully integrated set. Again he is spearheading a way of DJing that is picked up by a lot of other forward thinking electronic artists.

Logically, the releases on his label Electric Deluxe all feature tool versions, introducing the concept of creating unique live sets from parts as a natural evolution of Djing. Not only setting the bar for peak hour Techno madness, Electric Deluxe becomes the platform for his Collabs series that started on Novamute, as well as releases by open minded artists like Chris Liebing, George Issakidis, Tommy Four Seven and Terrence Fixmer to showcase the value of creative synergy using newest technology. Another strong part of this idea is the introduction of a new series of techno events called Electric Deluxe presents, which in a young history of just a couple of editions brought major artists like Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Radio Slave, Matthew Dear, Chris Liebing into play. Speedy J?s musical vision is genre blurring, creative freedom at the highest level of innovation and quality, it is providing a platform for artists operating within any conceivable genre in the broad spectrum of techno to fully explore and embrace the everexpanding technological possibilities.

Alongside working together with Niklas Ehrlin and Henrik Larsson on their main and wellknown project in the 90's, Headroom, Patrik Skoog began a solo project, darker and more tribal-technoinfluenced in comparison to the collaborations. After releasing the first output on German and American labels he then decided to set up Native Diffusion records for these type of tracks.This focused mainly on own productions, but also showcased remixes from the likes of Damon Wild, W.J Henze, Inigo Kennedy, Slobodan, Takaaki Itoh & Hardcell. As of 2003 and 2004 other
talent started to appear on the label as well, respected producers and newcomers to the techno-scene alike.

2004 also saw Headrooms debut release on the classic New York-label Synewave getting licensed to the "Exhibitionist" CD and DVD compilation, compiled and mixed by world renowned DJ Jeff Mills, and as the popularity of their style of techno increased over the last years, remix offers also dropped in frequently. Patrik did one for fellow Swede Adam Beyer and his now classic Drumcode imprint, which shortly thereafter lead to more releases on Drumcode, and the sublabel Truesoul. Being a technical Dj with great sense for momentum and trackselection Skoog has played and continues to play praised gigs in the USA, UK, North- and South America and all across Europe. In early 2005 a new project was found in "Agaric" where he explores the slower, deeper realms of techno and house and with productions on his well-received labelproject named "We Are", Patrik has gained appreciation from dj?s such as Richie Hawtin or James Holden, and you have seen a big change in performances as well as trackwork, where he excurts further and further away from playing the typical hard sound from which he was known, and more often than not he performs a deeper variety of tracks that hints of a new modern take on his early influences from the likes of Robert Hood, Wolfgang Voigt or Plastikman, still with high intensity and energetic groove.

The following year the Native Diffusion label is being put on ice, ending after six years at number 19 in the series and Patrik starts to perform liveacts all over the world with the Agaric project -premiering at one of the leading festivals for innovative electronic music in the Nordic countries, Public Service. Early 2007 nearly a decade after the debut on the Loop label and over one hundred vinyl-releases later, Agaric relocates to and gets involved in the ever so evolving and vibrant electronic music-scene in Berlin, Germany playing gigs at local clubinstitutions including Watergate, Tresor & Panoramabar.

Born in Uzbekistan and raised 1980?s Brooklyn NY immigrant style, east-west transitions and ghetto blasters where a way of life. Early connection to music came from the new wave / synth pop flare-up on one side, and the electro backed sounds that fired sidewalk break dancing, T-top IROC drive by?s, and 86th St mix tapes on the other. Formal music began at age 9 with saxophone, then piano, dabs in woodwinds and brass, before settling into drums and percussion. For the next 10 years drums provided a way to intuitively fill that fundamental need for expressing one?s self in groove, playing all styles and bands available. While in college rock and funk bands took over, one of which caught its 15 minutes scoring national airplay, MTV video, and tours of the northeast.

Eventually, the bands fizzled out and a new outlet was required. By chance the opportunity to DJ surfaced and the next instrument clicked in. In a week the first gig, then almost every house party on campus for the next 3 years. Along came Twilo. People like Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, and John Selway opened doors via that sound system from which there was no return. Consulting for software companies by day, the next few years were spent DJing techno and electro in NYC by night while studying the cycles of music, scene, and city. Next step was producing events under the Muzzy moniker with help from Abe Duque, Frankie Bones, Adam X, Heather Heart, Traxx, Dinky, Magda, and Stewart Walker to help hold up techno and electro in NYC. Expanding aspirations were not met with expanding opportunities. 2003 was the time for relocation to Berlin Germany where a centralizing electronic music community, an east-west culture, and several music technology companies were thriving. With transition came new inspiration from a variety of sources. With inspiration came DJ club / festival / even toilet gigs throughout Europe and back the USA. After projects working with Berlin music studios and Native Instruments, music production accelerated.

With NYC compatriot John Selway, CSM Records was re-launched in Europe on which original music and remix work flowed. In conjunction with CSM, the M party series (M-ittwoch + Mamstag) started in 2005 showcasing talent like Dan Bell, Luciano, Zip, Jay Haze, Kittin, and many others lending their sound for M in venues like WMF and Watergate. Forward, more transitions: M intensifies in Berlin, CSM spreads throughout, and subwoofers continue to displace volume expressing that same fundamental need.

With17 years in the music industry, John Acquaviva has played for over 2 million people and has appeared at over 5000 gigs. Always at the vanguard of the DJ and club world, today he is hotter than ever. He is crafting new anthems for today?s clubs and clubbers, and working with and introducing a new generation of DJs and artists on his own label Definitive Recordings, as well as other labels such as Blufin & Craft.

John began his international career in 1989 with Richie Hawtin by founding one of the world's best known and influential techno labels, Plus 8 Records. John and Richie not only launched their own careers, but also those of now huge techno figures Jochem Paap/Speedy J, Kenny Larkin and Dan Bell (as the trio Cybersonik). In 1992, Acquaviva and Hawtin also founded Definitive Recordings as an outlet for house music, launching the likes of Robotman, Barada, and Omegaman, along with a host of other house talents. Although then known mostly as a DJ, John was actively involved as engineer, producer and artist in the formative years of these artists and labels.

Last year, 2006, was another huge leap forward. John cemented his DJ reputation by placing at highest new entry in DJ Magazine?s annual top 100 - number 22 in the canonical poll of DJ influence and success worldwide. Key to that was his first ever full-on weekly Ibiza residency Acquaholic at Privilege in the ?06 season. This year, John goes from strength to strength taking a 5-date residency at Privilege, joining a tight roster that includes techno megastar Adam Beyer for Mauro Picotto's MEGANITE on Wednesdays.

Last year's success with Acquaholic will also feed into John?s summer plans with the touring club ELECTRONIC. With John as the focal point, ELECTRONIC is John's way of assembling the best of the established and up-and-coming house generation, handpicked from the best in Europe. A night for true music and clubbing fans, John will headline along with Germany's Karotte, Holland's Mason and Britain's Mike Monday, as well as with the UK's Cheshire Catz, Tommy Four Seven and Big Daddy, Italy's Remo, Spain's Fesco Records crew and Olivier Giacomotto of France.

This is but a part of John?s influence on the music industry. A pioneer of new music and ideas, John was one of the first people to take notice and embrace electronic music?s digital future at the dawn of 2000. First, John got involved with and championed Final Scratch as a new innovative way for DJ?s and artists to connect the digital world with the analog world. Following its success, John subsequently took another big step and helped launch Beatport.com, the biggest dance-music download site in the world.

As well as working in the business behind the music, John also works with an entire community of DJs ? not just through ELECTRONIC ? but also through writing and collaborating on new tracks. The past year has seen John introduce the world to Swen Weber with one of the years biggest club anthems "First Stroke" (on Craft). John?s own already prolific production list has grown to include six top tens on Beatport's main sales charts. This year features new projects with David Amo & Julio Navas (from Fresco) with BUNGEE & ETHANOL. The legendary label Definitive Recordings is definitely back with new breakout tracks such as "Volta" by ROBOT NEEDS OIL (remixed by Olivier Giacomotto), Damon Jee & Olivier Giacomotto's EPs "Deep in the Night" and "Gail in the O," plus upcoming new music from Greg Kobe and a solid group of new artists.

This year there is no sign of slowing down. Key music projects to watch for this Spring and Summer are a new single with MADOX, "RUNNING," featuring vocals by Tommie Sunshine on Mantra Italy. Look out for a Summer CD Big City Beats radio [Germany?s top dance station] for Privilege, premiering some of the season?s hottest music.

Ciuoffo's style is very unique: it combines tech house rhythms with tribal, deep, detroit latin, tango, afrobeat. At the age of 11 he buys his first turntables and his career officially starts in 2007 when he wins a dj contest, 1st place for his mixing technique at the official Italian Dj Meeting in FVG.
Then he partecipates at the third edition of the Italian Electroblog festival in 2008 playing before artists like Solomun from the German Diynamic Music. In 2009 he becomes part of 2 important event organizations: Different Grooves, well known in italy, collaborates with many important festivals across Europe and is a reference point for electronic music in the italian scene, and HayMas Events, which is a growing promoter and event organization from Trieste.

Today Ciuoffo performs in dj sets playing vinyl and in LIVE Sets with his collegue Marco Kole, forming a new project called TribalVision, based on live sets with AbletonLive playing our very own samples with 3 laptops, keyboards and controllers in sync.
Michele Ciuoffo always tries to combine mooving, groovy rhythms with melodic instruments creating that tribal latin tech house sound that would be similar to Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano or 2000 and one. He is curently waiting to find the right label to put out his projects succesfully and start his career also as a producer.
